QUESTIONS ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS
How many days/hours does the Masterclass last?
The duration of each Masterclass is 3 days and this information is clearly stated in the beginning of each seminar. Each Masterclass starts at 09.00am and ends at 18.00pm. There are two breaks: one smaller and one longer break , during which you can enjoy a balanced light meal that provides you enough calories and energy, so that you can easily continue your work.
Are the Masterclasses for professionals only or interested amateurs can participate as well?
Masterclasses are for professionals only.
What kind of seminar is it? Do I simply watch or do I actively participate?
Our Academy is structured according to the standards of the French Academies (Hands-On), which means that each participating professional is at a workstation where they will perform the recipe techniques.
In which language does each Masterclass take place?
Each Chef speaks his/her own language, which is usually French. That is why we have made sure that there are interpreters for both the Greek and the English speaking participants. The interpreter will also make your personal questions to the Chef, as well as transfer you his/her advice during your work hours.
Do you have a recipe book?
On the first day of the seminar, inside the Student’s Pack you receive, you will find a recipe book in Greek. There will be corresponding recipe books in English and French, depending on each participant’s native language.
How will I know if I have performed the recipe correctly?
Throughout the seminar there will be ongoing Chef supervision and guidance, and the participant will be able to see if the recipe is executed correctly and will receive valuable feedback from the Chef in case of a mistake.
What does VIPC mean?
VIPS is the key word for Very Important Pastry Chefs. It is a private space for graduates of our Academy. After the completion of the Academy each Graduate will receive it’s personal code that will allow them to enter specific site and find recipes, interviews with Chefs or receive messages and videos from them.
Who can I contact after the seminar for further clarifications?
The Chefs had trained and fully informed our support team to cover all your queries and any needs you may have. We will be with you for anything you need.
Will I receive any certificate for my participation in the Masterclass?
At the end of the seminar and in case you have attended all days, you will receive a certificate signed by the Chefs.
